Ayyūb's words after years of illness and loss. He named his hardship plainly and then named Allah's mercy
-رَبِّ- أَنِّيْ مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِيْن.
(My Lord), indeed adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
