اللِّبَاسُ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ
In the Name of Allah.
Anas b. Mālik (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The screen between the jinn and the nakedness of the children of Ādam when they take off their garments is that they say [the above].” (Ṭabarānī in al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ 7066)

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ كَسَانِيْ هٰذَا الثَّوْبَ ، وَرَزَقَنِيْهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِّنِّيْ وَلَا قُوَّةٍ.
All praise is for Allah who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, without any power or might from me.
Muʿādh b. Anas (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever puts on a garment and says [the above], his past and future sins will be forgiven.” (Abū Dāwūd 4023)

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيْهِ ، أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ.
O Allah, all praise is for You Alone — You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good of that for which it was made; and I seek Your protection from its evil and the evil of that for which it was made.
Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) reported that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wore a new garment he would name it: either a turban, a shirt, or a cloak; and then he would say [the above]. (Tirmidhī 1767)

تُبْلِيْ وَيُخْلِفُ اللّٰهُ تَعَالَىٰ.
May you wear it out and may Allah replace it (with another).
Abū Naḍrah said: When any of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ put on a new garment, [the above] was said to him. (Abū Dāwūd 4020)
