الزَّوَاجُ وَالْأَوْلَادُ
بارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ ، وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ ، وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِيْ خَيْرٍ
Må Allah velsigne dig, overøse dig med velsignelser og forene jer i godhed.
Abū Hurayrah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrated that when the Prophet ﷺ congratulated a man on his marriage, he said [the above]. (Abū Dāwūd 2130)

بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ
Må Allah velsigne dig.
Anas bin Mālik (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ traces of yellow perfume on ʿAbdur Rahmān bin ʿAwf, and he asked him “What is this?” He said: “O Messenger of Allah, I married a woman for the weight of a stone of gold. He said [the above] and then said: “Give a feast even if it is only with one sheep.” (Ibn Mājah 1907)

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيْهِمَا ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُمَا فِيْ بِنَائِهِمَا
O Allah, velsign dem begge, og velsign dem i deres forening.
Buraydah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said [the above] to ʿAlī the night he married Fātimah. (Nasā’i in Sunan al-Kubrā 8809)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ
O Allah, jeg beder Dig om det gode i hende og det gode, som Du har skabt i hende, og jeg søger tilflugt hos Dig fra hendes onde og fra det onde, som Du har skabt i hende.
ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrated from his father that his grandfather (ʿAbdullah b. ʿAmr ibn al-ʿAs) narrated the Prophet ﷺ saying: “If one of you marries a woman or buys a slave girl, he should say: [the above]. If he buys a camel, he should take hold of the top of its hump and say the same.” According to another narration he said: “Then he should take hold of her forelock and supplicate for blessing in the woman or the slave girl.” (Abū Dāwūd 2160)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ، اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ ، وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا
I Allahs navn. O Allah, beskyt os mod Shaytān, og hold Shaytān borte fra det, Du har forsynet os med.
Ibn ʿAbbās (radiy Allāhū ‘anhumā) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “If any one of you goes to his wife and says [the above]. If a child is decreed for them Shaytān will not harm him.” (Bukhārī 141)

Vor Herre, skænk os ægtefæller og efterkommere, som vil være en glæde for vore øjne, og gør os til ledere for dem, der har taqwa (gudsfrygt).

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Min Herre, gør mig standhaftig i ṣalāh, og mine efterkommere ligeså. Vor Herre, tag imod min bøn.

Må Allah velsigne ham for dig og gøre ham retskaffen og gudfrygtig.

أُعِيْذُكُمَا (أُعِيْذُكَ) بِكَلِمَاتِ اللّٰهِ التَّامَّةِ ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَّهَامَّةٍ ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَّامَّةٍّّ.
Jeg søger beskyttelse for dig i Allahs fuldkomne ord mod enhver djævel og ethvert udyr og mod ethvert ondt øje.
Ibn ʿAbbās (radiy Allāhū ‘anhumā) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek Allah’s protection for Ḥasan and Ḥusayn (radiy Allāhū ʿanhumā) and say: “Your forefather (i.e. Ibrāhīm) used to seek refuge with Allah for Ismaʿīl and Isḥāq by reciting the [the above].” (Bukhārī 3371) Jābir (radiy Allāhū ‘anhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When the evening comes, keep your children in, for the devils come out at that time. Then when part of the night has passed, let them go. And close the doors and mention the name of Allah, for Shaytān does not open a closed door. Tie up your waterskins and mention the name of Allah. Cover your vessels, even if you only put something over them and extinguish your lamps.” (Bukhārī 3280)
